DescriptionUnplugged and set apart from his bandmates, Dave Matthews is transformed from a fusion rocker to something of a fusion folkie. Indeed, this two-disc, two-man concert recording (cut in Iowa in the winter of 1996 and shelved for nearly three years) posits the South African-born bandleader less as a Blues Traveler fellow traveller than a dexterous, jazz-inflected minstrel in the tradition of Tim and Jeff Buckley, Terry Callier and Ellen McIlwaine... |

How to Use Collage as a Creative Process
Using collage as an art form opens a new medium for the creative artist. Collage is a therapy of the mind.
Collage offers a new way of thinking. Artists help our society recycle old into new by applying the collage technique.
What is the collage technique
When an artist uses collage as an art form old magazines and newspaper provide the inspiration where the artist can create a new form of artwork. It is exciting to see how a new art form evolve from using recycled materials.
New art form is catching on and collage provides the forum in which artists express their artistic skills.
Mail art for example, uses old magazines in the recycle of creating something of significance. Normally consumers toss magazines when they are through with them. Artists give new life to these short-lived magazines by using them in collage pieces.
Our society slashed billions of trees every year to make paper. Artists save the environment by cutting back on the use of paper through recycling. As a matter of fact, by recycling paper making collages artists are being environmentally conscious in saving the trees.
As an artist, you can add collage to you portfolio of artwork. It is an exciting avenue to explore. The benefit of using collage is the use of recycle materials. As an artist, you have to employ the creativity to bring new form into life. Collage provides the medium to explore new art form in creating a new form of art.
Rules to obey
Artists battle hindrances in their expression of art. Mind you when you embark on using, the creative process be mindful of other people's work. Be respectful to the copyright law and adhere to the rules.

Help please!! Art collage? Read:)?
Im doing an art collage on "play" for school, what kind of stuff should i put on it??? It isnt any specific area we just got told "play" lol.
Alls i got so far is dices:(
help please thanks:)
Well, the first thing i think of when i hear 'play' is playtime. Which opens up so many doors with that. Um, another is games, like snakes and ladders type of board games, or you could do like hop scotch sorta game.
Play music? Play could be used on anything if its electrical, like on an ipod, the play button. On a dvd player etc..
Hope this helps
